Birmingham’s beloved fitness hub, Sculpt B’ham, has announced its imminent move to a vibrant new location in Lakeview. The popular gym declared its operations shift expected to take place by the end of this weekend, in a significant development for both the fitness centre and its loyal members.
Behind the thriving business are Matthew and Destin Foster, the dynamic owners of Sculpt B’ham. The duo has been committed to providing a unique, inclusive and judgment-free fitness environment for their members.
Matthew Foster found his passion for fitness following his time in the Marine Corps, leading him to establish Sculpt B’ham and the successful home personal training company, HOMEFIT. Destin Foster, a local to Birmingham and a graduate in biopsychology and human development from UAB, brought a keen understanding of both nutrition and fitness to the growing endeavour.
The couples’ shared aim has always been to build a gym that prioritizes the well-being and happiness of its members. In Matthew’s words, “We’re also giving the community a safe place to work out. We don’t do drama and we do not play about our members’ safety.”
Members have a lot to anticipate with the relocation. Sculpt B’ham plans to host exclusive events, tours, and community activities at its new, enhanced location in Lakeview. The new premises promises more significant workout space, showers, and more accessible facilities, keeping the community’s fitness requirements a priority.
Destin Foster assures, “We take our members’ opinions very seriously. We actually hold votes to see what kind of equipment or upgrades members want. We are very personal about how we speak to our members and we work hard to maintain that connection with them.”
