Mountain Brook Gears Up for Birmingham’s “Hot” Dog Contest

This Sunday, November 10, 2024, Mountain Brook will come alive with the barks and howls of our four-legged friends, as The Animal League of Birmingham presents its highly anticipated “Hot” Dog Contest. The event will take place at the popular Avondale Brewery, located at 201 41st Street South, and promises to be a fun-filled day for families and dog lovers alike.

The festivities kick off at noon, with registration for contestants starting promptly. Dog owners are encouraged to register their furry companions early to secure a spot in the competition, which officially begins at 2 PM. Dogs will have a chance to compete for honors in categories such as Cutest Couple/Family/Group, “Rascliest” Rescue, Dressed to Impress, Sassiest Senior (7 years and up), Most Squeezable Puppy (4-12 months), Best Fur Do, and Most Captivating.
