Mountain Brook Gears Up for Birmingham’s “Hot” Dog Contest
This Sunday, November 10, 2024, Mountain Brook will come alive with the barks and howls of our four-legged friends, as The Animal League of Birmingham presents its highly anticipated “Hot” Dog Contest. The event will take place at the popular Avondale Brewery, located at 201 41st Street South, and promises to be a fun-filled day for families and dog lovers alike.

Dogs will have a chance to compete for honors in categories such as Cutest Couple/Family/Group, “Rascliest” Rescue, Dressed to Impress, Sassiest Senior (7 years and up), Most Squeezable Puppy (4-12 months), Best Fur Do, and Most Captivating.
