Hoover’s Market Noel Brings Holiday Cheer and Community Support This November

Hoover Readies for Festive Fun at Market Noel

Hoover is buzzing with excitement as the annual Market Noel holiday shopping event gears up, set to take place from November 20-23, 2024, at the Finley Center. This delightful gathering promises more than just a chance to shop; it’s a tradition that kicks off the holiday season with festivity and charity!

What Can You Expect?

Market Noel will feature over 100 vendors, showcasing everything from beautiful home décor and stylish clothing to unique jewelry, fun toys, and delicious gourmet food. If you’re looking for the perfect holiday gifts or simply want to treat yourself, this event has something for everyone. General admission shopping will be available throughout the weekend, providing ample opportunity to browse and buy.

Special Kick-off Events

The fun starts with a special Preview Noel on Wednesday night, November 20, from 7 to 10 p.m. Here, those aged 21 and over can be the first to snag fabulous items from the vendors. Guests can enjoy gourmet treats from Tasty Town, enjoy some lively dueling piano performances, and even join in on a silent auction. Plus, enjoy a unique “Build Your Own Seltzer” bar sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka! The first 100 attendees will even take home a special swag bag.

Giving Back While You Shop!

Not only is Market Noel full of festive fun, but it’s also about giving back to the community. In 2023 alone, the event raised over $226,000, supporting various educational scholarships and community assistance programs. Organizations benefiting from this year’s proceeds include the Hispanic Interest Coalition of Alabama, Jones Valley Teaching Farm, and Community Food Bank of Central Alabama, among others. Just imagine—purchasing a single $15 ticket could provide 90 meals! How amazing is that?

Exciting Daily Events

As the week continues, get ready for special events that include:

  • JLB Hearts Birmingham – On Thursday, November 21, from 5 to 8 p.m., this event will highlight performances from local schools and community organizations, showcasing the talent of Hoover’s youth.
  • Milk and Cookies with Santa – Families can join Santa on Friday, November 22, from 3 to 6 p.m. Enjoy cute festive treats and capture the moment with a special photo.
  • Brunch with the Big Guy – On Saturday, November 23, parents and kids can enjoy brunch while listening to a reading of “The Polar Express,” along with holiday activities and, of course, a visit with Santa!

Special Accommodations

Market Noel is committed to making the event enjoyable for everyone. There will be golden hours for senior citizens on Thursday, November 21, from 1 to 3 p.m., ensuring a comfortable shopping experience. Additionally, sensory hours on Friday, November 22, from 9 to 11 a.m. will have adjusted lighting and a quieter atmosphere for those with sensory sensitivities.
