Kickstarting our holiday festivities is the Jefferson County Senior Holiday Cheer Celebration at 9 a.m. over at 2340 Crossplex Blvd.. This event promises a great time with lots of cheer for our beloved seniors.

Then, head over to ArtPlay from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for the Home for the Holidays event. Get ready for the big summer camp show announcement amid delightful activities for the youth! The best part? A Night to Remember

As the clock strikes 6 p.m., make your way to the Vestavia City Center for a lovely event titled All is Bright. The evening shines brighter with community bonding, and it’s the perfect way to gather with friends and family.

Not far from there, Brian Nabors will be making music history with his concert featuring the Birmingham Concerto No 1 at the Carver Theatre at 6:30 p.m. It’s the first concert at Carver since 1935! Can’t wait to hear those fantastic melodies.

Weekend Kick-off on Friday

Ah, Friday! The day that leads us into the weekend. Start off your Friday by visiting the Annual Holiday Artist Market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 105 West College Street. It’s the perfect place to snag some unique holiday gifts crafted by local artisans.

At the Birmingham Museum of Art at 5 p.m., don’t miss the Art After 5: featuring the classic holiday film Die Hard. It’s an unconventional holiday movie, but hey, who doesn’t love Bruce Willis?

As evening sets in, the Polar Express Adventure in Irondale kicks off at 6 p.m. Bring your family for some free photos with Santa, hot cocoa, and cookies! Saturday: A Day Full of Festivities

This Saturday, start your day with a Breakfast with Santa at Samford University at 9 a.m. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy delicious breakfast goodies and activities while capturing those cute photos with ol’ Saint Nick!

Don’t miss the Annual Holiday Artist Market again from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to keep that holiday shopping spirit alive! And if you’re looking for a way to give back, head to the Be Kind Birmingham’s 3rd Annual Christmas Pop-Up Free Store at the Ensley Recreation Center at 10 a.m. It’s a heartfelt initiative full of holiday cheer and community support.

Later, enjoy the delightful Nutcracker Tea featuring The Alabama Ballet at 12:30 p.m., followed by a festive A Walk Through Bethlehem event at Homestead Hollow at 5:30 p.m. Talk about a magical Saturday, right?

Sunday Fundays Done Right

Sunday means it’s almost time to relax before the new week rolls in! Start with the 2nd Sundays Christmas Market at 11 a.m. – a charming community market in Pelham! You’ll definitely want to snag a last-minute holiday gift or two.
