Vestavia Hills Gears Up for an Exciting Evening of Fun and Fundraising
Mark your calendars, folks! On Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, Vestavia Hills will be buzzing with excitement as the beloved nonprofit, HEAL United, hosts its annual Gather & Give fundraiser. This fantastic event is set to take place at the Vestavia Hills Civic Center from 5:30 to 8 p.m., and you won’t want to miss it!
What to Expect
This year’s Gather & Give will feature a wonderful shopping experience with a diverse range of items for everyone, including stunning jewelry pieces from Kendra Scott and beautiful artwork by Lindsey Porter. With hundreds of items on offer, it’s the perfect opportunity to grab a unique gift or treat yourself while supporting a great cause!
To top off the festivities, the acclaimed Blues and soul signer, Taylor Hicks, is scheduled to take the stage and provide some soulful tunes that are sure to get everyone in the mood for giving. As if that’s not enough, state Sen. Jabo Waggoner, a familiar face around the community, will be there signing copies of his biography penned by former state representative Steve Flowers. This is a unique chance to meet a local leader and snag an insightful read!
Live Music and Tasty Treats!
Adding to the entertainment, talented Vestavia Hills High School students, Nico Moreno and Andy Sheng, will be serenading attendees with live performances using the piano and saxophone, respectively. Their musical skills promise to create a warm and inviting atmosphere as everyone mingles and shops.
What’s a fundraiser without delicious food? Kathy G Catering is stepping up to provide a delightful dinner spread to keep everyone energized throughout the evening. Trust us, your taste buds are in for a treat!
