Starting on November 1 and running through the 24th, the Homewood Inspiration Home will be open for tours at 106 East Edgewood Drive. This stunning showcase is brought to you by Birmingham Home and Garden magazine in collaboration with Willow Homes and Architectural Cooperative. The tours are available Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets cost $10, with proceeds benefiting Trinity’s Outreach Hub. On November 3, the community is invited to join the Aerospace Booster Club for the Red White and Blue 5K and Family Fun Run, held at the Lakeshore Trail, Track/Soccer Complex at Samford University. Scheduled from 8 to 11 a.m., this event honors U.S. military service members and veterans. The 5K race and fun run are open to all ages, coinciding with Samford Homecoming festivities.
