TAMPA, FL – Capstone Building Corporation has officially announced the opening of its new regional office located at 142 West Platt St. This marks the general contractor’s second regional location outside of its headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama, with the first being in Huntsville, Alabama.
Leading the new office will be Chase Pattillo, who has been appointed the vice president of strategic growth for Capstone. Pattillo brings over 25 years of experience in development, site acquisition, and capital markets to his new role. His extensive background is expected to play a significant part in the company’s expansion efforts in the competitive Florida market, particularly in the multifamily housing sector.
The Tampa office aims to enhance Capstone’s presence in one of the nation’s most vibrant real estate markets. According to Preston Smith, the company’s vice president of preconstruction services, the decision to open an office in Tampa is part of a strategy to better serve clients and accelerate growth. Smith remarked, “We have been increasingly active in Florida, and opening a regional office in Tampa will allow us to better serve our clients and accelerate our growth in this market.”
Pattillo’s appointment aligns perfectly with Capstone’s goals. With his proficiency in the multifamily and build-to-rent developments, company officials are optimistic that his leadership will further the organization’s success in the area.
Capstone Building Corp. has successfully completed more than $3 billion worth of projects across 22 states, with a growing number concentrated in Florida. Pattillo highlighted the company’s legacy of delivering top-quality multifamily projects. He stated, “Capstone’s legacy of delivering top-quality multifamily projects—including traditional, affordable, build-to-rent, senior, and student housing—along with our comprehensive experience in land development and pre-construction consulting, will serve our clients very well.”
The establishment of this new office is expected to not only boost the company’s operations but also create job opportunities in the Tampa Bay area. As the region continues to experience significant growth, especially in housing and real estate, Capstone’s focus on multifamily housing solutions will likely meet the increasing demand.
This local expansion indicates the company’s commitment to contributing to the development needs of Tampa and its surrounding communities, aiming to provide affordable housing options that cater to a diverse range of residents.
Looking into the future, the leadership team at Capstone is enthusiastic about the possibilities that lie ahead in Tampa. The combination of seasoned leadership and a strategic focus on one of the country’s hottest markets lays a promising foundation for growth. As the company forges ahead, local residents and businesses may very well benefit from the developments and enhancements that come with Capstone’s new regional office.
With the official opening now complete, the new Tampa office is poised to make significant contributions not just in terms of construction, but in uplifting the community as a whole through its diverse housing projects.
