The Red Cat Coffee Shops serve mouthwatering breakfast fare, terrific lunch fare, vegan and vegetarian options, home-baked pastries, and smoothies. Additionally, we daily roast all of our coffee in-house.
We set out to build The Red Cat in 2008 with the goal of striking a compromise between our own preferences for coffee and atmosphere, those of our customers, and what is logical from a business standpoint. We didn’t want to mindlessly adopt the third wave of coffee culture without carefully considering whether it was the appropriate move for us. Coffee isn’t always a scientific experiment; it can also be a pleasant experience for the consumer.
We aimed to build a coffee shop that caters to the diverse preferences and demographics of the Birmingham neighborhood. Everyone gets coffee here, is our motto. When we open the doors each day, we observe that idea come to life, and that is how we judge our success. Here, specialty-grade coffees are handled with care while also being made available to a variety of coffee experiences. The Red Cat offers the Birmingham neighborhood a place to congregate and socialize over delicious coffee and healthy food.
