On a cool Friday night in Birmingham, the Briarwood Christian School football team faced a challenging matchup against Carver-Birmingham. Despite a spirited effort, the Lions found themselves on the losing end of a 20-7 score, marking their fourth consecutive loss to start the season.

The game kicked off with the Lions looking strong. They drew first blood in the second quarter when Brooks Allred rushed in for a 2-yard touchdown run, giving Briarwood a promising lead of 7-0. The energy in the stadium was palpable as fans erupted in cheers, filling the air with excitement.
