Birmingham is Buzzing for the Return of Trans-Siberian Orchestra!

Hey there, Birmingham! Mark your calendars because there’s an exciting event coming right up this December. Yes, you guessed it—the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is making its way back to our city, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!

What You Need to Know

On December 11, at 7 p.m., the multi-platinum rock group will light up the stage at Legacy Arena at the BJCC as part of their highly anticipated winter tour. This year is quite special because they’re kicking things off on November 13, celebrating 20 years of their cherished rock opera, “The Lost Christmas Eve.” How cool is that?

A Milestone Celebration

Trans-Siberian Orchestra isn’t just celebrating their own anniversary, though. They’re also reaching some incredible milestones: 20 million concertgoers have enjoyed their performances over the years, and they’ve donated more than $20 million to various charities! This is a band that doesn’t just rock out; they’re making a difference, too.

Ticket Information

If you’re as excited as we are, here comes the best part! Tickets will be up for grabs starting Friday, September 13, through Ticketmaster and the BJCC Central Ticket Office. And get this—special tickets are being sold for just $49.99 during the first week! But wait, there’s more. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama. So not only will you have a fantastic time, but you’ll also be supporting a great cause!

What to Expect

For those who have been fortunate enough to catch a TSO show before, you know that each concert is its own captivating experience. This December marks the return of “The Lost Christmas Eve” to the stage for the first time since 2013. And fans can look forward to a brand new spectacle filled with fascinating pyrotechnics, dazzling lasers, and the brilliant performative storytelling that TSO has been known for over the past 25 years.

About “The Lost Christmas Eve”

Let’s dive a bit deeper into “The Lost Christmas Eve.” This rock opera is TSO’s fourth studio album and completes their beloved “Christmas Trilogy”, which includes “Christmas Eve and Other Stories” and “The Christmas Eve Attic.” The story follows a businessman who has hit rock bottom and ends up wandering the streets of New York City on Christmas Eve. A chance meeting with a mysterious girl leads him to a life-altering call from his long-lost son. It’s a heartwarming and sometimes heart-wrenching tale that truly captures the holiday spirit, especially during a season when many feel a little lonelier.

A Tradition in Birmingham

For those who may not know, Trans-Siberian Orchestra has been a regular holiday treat in Birmingham since 2004! They first graced the BJCC Concert Hall, and since then, they have captured the hearts of many in our community. This year’s tour is sure to be another unforgettable evening filled with holiday cheer and incredible music.

Don’t Miss Out!

So, whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra experience, this is one performance you won’t want to miss! Gather your loved ones, grab your tickets, and get ready for a night full of amazing energy, heartfelt moments, and incredible rock music as we celebrate the magic of the holiday season together.
