With the support of family from both sides, she plans to keep Anitra’s memory alive for her daughter as she navigates a world where both of her parents are absent.
As Candace continues to cope with her loss, she remains hopeful for justice for her daughter and the other victims. “I just want justice for my baby, I’m just praying and asking God to give me strength,” she pleaded. “I don’t want to lose my faith in God more than anything,” she added, expressing the profound impact of her grief.
