Birmingham Celebrates 50 Years of Entertainment at BJCC Concert Hall
Birmingham, AL – The 50th anniversary celebration of the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) Concert Hall and Theatre is set to take place on Saturday, October 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This joyous occasion will unfold in the plaza outside the Concert Hall, inviting all members of the community to partake in the festivities. This year marks a significant milestone for the venue, which first opened its doors on October 3, 1974.

Over the decades, the BJCC Concert Hall has hosted a plethora of notable performances from legendary artists such as Ray Charles, Tina Turner, Bruce Springsteen, Kirk Franklin, and Kevin Hart.
