Bessemer Community Gears Up for Habitat for Humanity Home Builders Blitz
Bessemer, Ala. – The city is abuzz with excitement as Habitat for Humanity Greater Birmingham gears up for its 16th annual Home Builders Blitz, running from October 10 through 18. This year, local builders and community members have come together to construct seven new homes to help families in need.

Horton, Harris Doyle Homes, Inc., Mareno Construction, LLC, and Taylor Burton Company. Each family must go through a rigorous qualification process, which includes committing 250 hours of volunteer work and completing 10 hours of financial and homeowner education classes.
