The men and women taken into custody are identified as Curtis Deangelo Pelt, 33, Caroline Elizabeth Medley, 46, Savannah Tyler Dagenais, 32, and Giovanni Austin, 43.
According to Sheriff’s spokesperson Henry Irby, law enforcement officials arrived at the property to serve an arrest warrant. However, they subsequently discovered probable cause to obtain a search warrant for the premises. The operation led to the confiscation of various items reportedly linked to illegal narcotics traffic.

During the search, investigators recovered a total of eight firearms along with 48 grams of crack cocaine and an unspecified quantity of marijuana, Tramadol, and methamphetamine. Individual Charges Explained
Pelt faces charges related to drug trafficking and has already been released from the Jefferson County Jail after posting a bond of $100,000. On the other hand, Medley has been charged with second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, along with two counts of felony failure to appear. She is currently being held without bond.
Dagenais is also facing serious charges of drug trafficking and her bond is similarly set at $100,000. It’s notable that the fourth suspect, Austin, is charged with a misdemeanor failure to appear and remains in custody without bond.
