However, her path was not without its challenges. “I started, stopped, and started again. I was determined not to give up,” she stated.
Her experiences led her to leave her corporate job at a high-demand call center to start her own business. What began as preparing her own taxes turned into a full-fledged service after a friend suggested she help others. Celebrating twelve years in business this March, Scott relishes the flexibility that being her own boss provides. “With my flexibility, I’m free to do whatever I please. I set my hours and pace,” she expressed.
