2. Lilly & Daisy Bakery | Roebuck

3. Black Leaf Cigar Co. | West Birmingham

Black Leaf Cigar Co., a high-end cigar lounge, has opened its doors to the denizens of West Birmingham. The locally-owned lounge is the perfect hideout for those in pursuit of imported premium cigars and a cozy social setting.

4. Dear Emmaline | Vestavia Hills

For adorable children’s wear, head to the newly opened Dear Emmaline boutique in Vestavia Hills. Formerly an online business, Dear Emmaline is now a traditional retail store featuring a delightful collection of children’s clothing, toys, and accessories.

5. Walker County Park | Jasper

On August 9, Walker County Park was officially unveiled in Jasper by the United Way of Central Alabama and its volunteer program, Hands On. The park offers BBQ grills, gardens, a children’s learning pavilion, pickleball courts, swings, and a walking track.

After a four-year pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Terrific New Theatre (TNT) is resurfacing with a renovated building and an intriguing theatrical season for 2024-2025. This theater company has recently acquired the former Alabama Auction Room building as a dedicated performance space.

After a two-year run in Homewood, second-hand clothing store Cheap Chick is sadly closing its doors. Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the 75% discount on all items before the store officially shuts down.

8. Alfa Romeo + Maserati | Irondale Auto Mall

Luxury automobile dealerships Alfa Romeo of Birmingham and Maserati of Birmingham have recently closed their locations in Irondale Auto Mall. However, in a silver lining of sorts, the mall will soon welcome Subaru as the new resident dealership, representing the change of guard in this local auto niche.
