To this end, the Birmingham Business Alliance has revived the “Big Trip”; now rebranded as the “Leadership Exchange.” Last hosted 15 years ago, this year’s trip will take top business, community and political leaders to Raleigh, North Carolina. Drawing from past success stories of landmark projects like Railroad Park and Regions Field, the Leadership Trip promises to spur transformative ideas and collaborations towards Birmingham’s growth.

Raleigh’s flourishing innovation ecosystem and top-notch urban planning, greatly bolstered by the nearby Research Triangle Park and three major universities, offer invaluable insight to Birmingham.
